So How Many Of Us Made the Jump?
I almost bailed when I saw the captcha, but then I realized it wouldn't be Murderati without having to try every post at least twice ;D

I said I'd be in, and I'm in. Anyone else here yet?
It's okay, I was always the dork who got to the parties too early....

Reader and commenter here! And I thought that I was the only one who had to captcha and enter all comments twice (glad to see it wasn't personal).

I just saw this... I'm glad someone thought to do this.
question -- is this strictly for Murderati (and I include all commenters) alumni, or is it for anyone we want to invite along? I'm assuming the latter, but it doesn't hurt to check.

Out one door, in another. We find ourselves in Moontown, or here, whichever accepts Amex. Let the new era begin.

Hi all. I'm going with Jake's party analogy. But instead of you guys arriving early, it's more that the hosts are running late. We've just greeted you at the door with only our towels on.
Give us a week or two and we'll get dressed! Phillipa

I often don't make it to the party at all.
So I don't mind getting there early enough to help make the appetizers. I hope this forum thing works out.

I thought I'd check in. I've followed your Murderati blog religiously, although posting intimidated me as you all were much more erudite than I. (Notice big word installed to impress and, hopefully, correct grammar.) I've participated in Alex's on-line course and I'm very grateful that you will continue to give us a forum. Your writers and bloggers have been the best in the blogging world for those of us who write. Thank you.

About a week late, but here I am. Checking in. Trying not to break stuff. Also now worried about failing to live up to Andi's standards by not being erudite. (hi, Andi! please don't be intimidated, it's just us.)
One day soon, I'll even figure out how to sign up and become a member. Er, not a guest.
The security check thing wants me to enter "it is fair" -- I hope it is fair and not a prediction of the time I'll be spending in the dungeon over here.

Hi,
I just decided I'd take a look at Pari's last post on "the other place" and saw this. Glad I checked. It took me over an hour to figure out how the captcha worked. I think I bought a new Volvo and a pick-up truck in the process. One of my sons will want the truck. I'll send Pari a bill for the Volvo.
